1. Summary of Core Principles
Training Log is built with absolute privacy as its foundation. We abide by three core rules to ensure your data stays where it belongs: on your device.
Zero Server Transmission
We do not own, operate, or maintain any external servers. Your data never leaves your device.
No Third-Party Tracking
We do not integrate any third-party analytics, marketing, or advertising SDKs.
HealthKit Compliance
We strictly adhere to Apple’s HealthKit guidelines. Your data is never used for advertising or data mining.
2. Information We Access and How We Use It
Apple HealthKit Data
Training Log requests read-only permission to access specific health metrics from Apple’s Health App via the HealthKit API (such as heart rate, workouts, and cardiovascular metrics).
Financial and Subscription Data
Training Log offers premium features via in-app subscriptions.
- All purchases are processed securely by Apple using the native StoreKit framework.
- We do not collect or store your name, credit card details, billing address, or any financial information.
- Apple handles the transaction and merely validates the active subscription status anonymized to your device.
3. Diagnostics and Analytics
To ensure app stability and fix technical bugs, Training Log relies exclusively on Apple's built-in, anonymous crash reporting via App Store Connect.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Because your data is stored strictly on your device, we do not retain your data on any corporate servers.
Uninstalling the App
If you wish to delete all cached data processed by Training Log, simply delete the app from your iOS device. Deleting the app instantly and permanently wipes the app’s local sandbox cache from your device's storage.
Health App Controls
You can revoke Training Log's permission to read your HealthKit data at any time by going to the iOS Settings App > Health > Data Access & Devices > Training Log.
5. Children’s Privacy
Because Training Log does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data online, the app inherently complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and does not gather information from individuals of any age, including children under 13.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates or regulatory changes. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." Because the app does not collect user contact information, we encourage you to review this policy periodically within the App Store listing or our support page.
7. Contact Us
